It has perfect functionality and feels durable enough to take some hardcore court use. It's so much better than the tubes. They've also added some stylish coloring to give it some pickleball pop as you're gathering throughout the court. The handle is comfortable and solid along with the rest of the grabber. Gathering pickleballs has never been this exciting! I promise you that it's an excellent value for the money and will serve you well for years to come!

This collapsible pickleball picker upper has completely transformed how I handle practice sessions. My wife decided it was time to get into pickleball for her! I wouldn't have ever thought about buying something like this, but I saw it on Amazon Vine and figured why not? It was easy to put together, is a great size that holds plenty of balls, and feels very high quality with the parts that connect. She likes the ability to pick up balls quickly without bending over constantly. I'm sure some more have gotten ordered because all the older folks that play in her league are now buying these things.

With Pickleball if you want to improve, you need to drill, but that means you can go through a bucket of balls and then have the tedious task of picking them all up. Using the tube method is fine but this Pickleball Picker upper is a great alternative. It has a lightweight mesh basket that you push over the ball and the spring-loaded design pops balls into the basket efficiently. Unlike the tube method, you don't have to be precise as you push down on the ball. In the video I posted it's pretty effortless. One ball hit the spring and didn't pick up but it picked up the next try.

The Pickleball Picker upper has a stainless steel handle that you can adjust for height and then it can completely collapse and disassemble pretty conveniently and has a bag to store it. It would be cool if there was a way to have it elevate to waist high once the balls are in there to use as the ball feeder, but this is great as is for what it does.

It says it holds 40+ balls which I've not tried, but I imagine once you really get it full the balls may begin pushing themselves up and out of the container, I don't know for sure though.

I think this is good for players who drill, or coaches who value easy storage and less back strain during pickup sessions.

I just purchased a ball machine that hold 85 balls. I had been using one of those common tubes that hold about 17 balls. It took forever to pick up all those balls, and with the tube you have to pick up each ball separately and is often difficult getting the balls that are up against a wall. With the Codiao picker upper I can get all the balls picked up in two passes. Also I can pick up multiple balls at one time if they are next to each other, and picking up balls that are against the wall are very easy. The spring design that captures the balls into the basket works very well. You just set the basket on the top of the ball or balls and set it down with very little effort and the balls are securely in the basket. It is very quick and easy. After one pass I dump the balls into the machine and then do another pass and all the balls are in the machine ready for the next set of drills. It is very fast. Included is an extra set of springs if needed. I've used this many times and it has worked flawlessly. Also it is quick to assemble and disassemble for transport. You just unclick the handle from the basket, then the basket folds up into its carrying bag, and the handle can retract to make it shorter, and the whole thing fits into my pickleball bag without adding much weight. It is really the perfect item if you have a ball machine, or even a stationary hopper. It's good value for the money, but I think it could be priced a little lower.
